FUNCTION

Suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria: lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia; Skin and soft tissue infections; Acute otitis media; Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc. (Penicillin is a commonly used drug for treating suppurative streptococcal pharyngitis and also for preventing rheumatic fever. Azithromycin can effectively clear oral and pharyngeal streptococci, but there is currently no data on the efficacy of Azithromycin in treating and preventing rheumatic fever). Azithromycin can be used for simple genital infection caused by Chlamydia trachomatis in sexually transmitted diseases of men and women. Azithromycin can also be used for simple genital infections caused by non multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae and chancre caused by Haemophilus duke (co infection with Treponema pallidum needs to be ruled out).
