Sulfaquinoxaline sodium (N'1-quinoxalin-2-ylsulphanilamide sodium, SQ-Na) is the sodium salt form of sulfaquinoxaline, which is used to treat coccidiosis in poultry, pigs and sheep by inhibiting the synthesis of nucleic acid and protein of microorganisms.
Sulfaquinoxaline sodium is generally used in the treatment of inflammation, such as upper respiratory tract infection tonsillitis, bacillary dysentery enteritis, skin infection, etc. It can also be used in combination with other drugs to treat pulmonary tuberculosis and lymphatic tuberculosis.
